Kim is a strategic business consultant with significant executive HR experience who specializes in the discovery and diagnosis of root-cause inefficiencies and the subsequent development of people solutions that enable businesses to transform. She brings a wealth of knowledge from a diverse mix of industries that include transportation, insurance, consumer services, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and financial services. In addition to her consulting endeavors, Kim has held leadership roles as EVP and Chief People Officer at Save-A-Lot, Chief People Officer at Ingram Barge Company, and Chief People Officer at Oreck Corporation, among others. Her exceptional skills in culture transformation, change management and integration, attracting, building, and retaining world-class talent, leadership coaching, and teambuilding are employed to help companies successfully develop and grow high-performing, diverse organizations with strong employee engagement, robust cultures, and increased profitability.
Kim earned an MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She lives with her husband and the younger of their two sons in Franklin, Tennessee—the elder son is currently away at college.
